The middle station offers accommodation with great view over Gudbrandsdalen. Here you can find ski rental, a sports shop, ticket sale, Plaza Ski Cafe, Koia Afterski, Børson Grocery Shop, Fôr Restaurant, a kids area, and the Olympic Slope. The West side, also known as "the sunny side", offers cabins and apartments with good sun conditions and immediate access to nature. On the sunny west side you will find a sports shop, ski rental, the restaurant Gondolen Fjellbistro and lift ticket sales at Skitorget. The popular restaurant Tyrihanstunet is also located on the west side. The family area KIDS Skitorget, with a platter lift, children's ski lift, the KIDS park and the KIDS World Cup, is a great area for children and beginners.
Varden is Kvitfjell's new mountain side with family-friendly trails. A new transport gondola connects Varden to the west side, and a 6-seater chair lift goes to the top of the new mountain side. A green and blue trail perfect for beginners are waiting to be skied. With a cabin or apartment in Kvitfjell, you have a great starting point for both a relaxing and active holiday in both summer and winter. In Kvitfjell, it is nature that counts and can offer lovely views over Lågen and Gudbrandsdalen, surrounded by nature on all sides.
In the winter season, you can ski in/ski out to the Kvitfjell alpine resort from most of our cabins and apartments. There are slopes for all levels, from the green beginner's slope to the Olympic slope, which is used during the world cup every year and was built for the Olympics in Lillehammer. Experience Kvitfjell's magical high mountain atmosphere with snow-covered trees, cozy eateries and the after ski.
In the summer, there are great hiking opportunities both on foot and by bike in Kvitfjell and the surrounding mountain areas. With a short drive you can reach many experiences in Gudbrandsdalen, such as Hafjell Bike Park and Hunderfossen in the south, as well as the rafting river Sjoa and national parks such as Rondane and Jotunheimen in the north. In the cozy village of Ringebu you will find several shops, cafes and cultural attractions.
