3 New Lifts and 2 Slopes for Next Year

Construction on Kvitfjell's west side commenced after the 2006/07 season ended on April 22nd 2007. On May 15th, the 6-seater chairlift will be handed over to Kvitfjell Ski Resort. The NOK 70 mill. investment is the most extensive new development of a Norwegian ski resort for the coming season.
The lift-capacity in Kvitfjell will be 11,300 persons/hour, and gives a total of 24km of slopes. The west side is now even more suitable for beginner and intermediate skiers and snowboarders.
