Everything you need to know about the World Cup 6-8 march

A new World Cup weekend in Kvitfjell is approaching. From 6^th to 8^th March you can watch the best skiers in the world, try local food and the entertainment in the in the finishing area! Downhill 6^th and 7^th March; Super -G 8^th March. The Norwegians have big expectations for Axel Lund Svindal.

During the World Cup 20 km of totally 25 km with slopes will be open for our gests. Here you can find more information about entertainment, the race, transport and opening hours for the lifts.

The race:

· Thursday 11:30 first official training, Downhill men

· Friday

o 11:30 Downhill Men

o 19:15 Prize ceremony (GudbrandsGard)

o 19:30 Official drawing of start numbers (GudbrandsGard)

o 20:00 The Night club is open

· Saturday 11:30 Downhill Men

· Sunday 11:00 SUPER G Men

Prices for entrance in the finishing area:

Tickets sales at the entrance: adults 100,- Children 50,- (15 years)

Operating hours for the lifts during the World Cup:

During the World Cup 20 km of totally 25 km with slopes will be open for our gests.

The Olympic Hill is closed from 1th - 8th March
9^th -13^th March the The Olympic Hill (lower) will be closed because of FIS- race.
The national slope will be closed in periods, the competitors will use the slope to warm-up (4^th-8^th March).
Friday 6^th Mars and Saturday 7^th Mars the Hotel lift, and the chair lifts will be open until 17.30. Then it's possible to be skiing after the race.

Train and bus to Kvitfjell

Friday 6th.:

-Bus from Lillehammer Skysstasjon: 9:30 am. NOK 50,-

-Train from Lillehammer Skysstasjon : 10:14 am.

-Bus from the middle station: 4:45 pm. NOK 50,-

-Train from Kvitfjell to Oslo 6:02 pm.

Saturday 7th:

- Bus from Lillehammer Skysstasjon: 9:30 am. NOK 50,-

- Train from Lillehammer Skysstasjon : 10:14 am.

- Bus from the arena at 3:45 pm. and 6:00 pm. NOK 50,-

- Bus from the middle station: 5:45 pm. NOK 50,-

- Train from Ringebu Stasjon to Oslo: 7:19 pm.

Sunday 6th:

-Bus from Lillehammer Skysstasjon: 9:30 am. NOK 50,-

-Train from Lillehammer 10:14 am.

-Bus from the middle station: 4:45 pm. NOK 50,-

-Train from Kvitfjell to Oslo: 18:02 pm.

Entertainment

From 10:00 am. At Saturday Norwegian artist will be playing in the arena. There will also be a lot of local entertainers. In the after -ski tent the Swedish band Feejk will be playing after the race 12.30.

On Saturday there will be after-ski with live music in the bar at Gudbrandsgard Hotel at 4:00 pm. At 10:00pm the World cup Party starts.
