Snow guarantee in Kvitfjell 2011/2012

The winter-season in Kvitfjell is planned to start on the 29. October and lasts to 29. April 2012. The snow-guarantee means that you do not need to worry about the snow-conditions when planning your skiing holliday. If our lifts and slopes are not open as stated in the snow-guarantee on the same day as you are departing for Kvitfjell, you have the possibility to cancel your stay, free of charge, to the companies that offer the guarantee.

We plan to open the first skilift and slope in Kvitfjell on 29. October. (Open every day until season ends), and more slopes and lifts will open as soon as the conditions allow us to open. Season ends on 29. April.

Snow-guarantee
From 12. November: minimum 2 skilifts og 3 km of slopes will be open.

From 3. December both sides of the mountain will be open; minimum 2 chairlifts, 2 skilifts and 8 km of slopes.

From 25. December to 9. April 845 vertical meters; minimum of 3 chairlifts, 3 skilifts, and 15 km of slopes open.

The following companies are giving the snow-guarantee: GudbrandsGard Hotel, Kvitfjell Booking, Skischool and Skirental. If you have prepaid lift-passes (except season-pass). If the snow-guarantee is not fullfilled refund will be given if you do not wish to come to Kvitfjell.
