Dining opportunities

Although dinner at the lodge is always enjoyable, we offer a few other dining options at Kvitfjell. We can serve dinner in a tipi-tent, mountain farm or at a nature site.

Tipi-Tent:

Dinner in a tipi-tent is a special and cozy experience. A tipi-tent is the perfect place to have dinner with friends/colleagues, listen to lectures, or enjoy a folk musician performance.

The tipi-tent is equipped with wooden benches and a fireplace in the middle.

Gammelsetra, Mountain Farm:

One will find it very pleasant and friendly at the mountain farm. You will be seated at a long table with a crackling fire in the background. Enjoy warm fondue as the House Special. In addition to the dining room, there is a kitchen with a wood stove. An outhouse is available behind the mountain farm.

Nature Site:

We will pick a pleasant location for your meal. You can enjoy an astonishing view at the top of a mountain, or we can build a snow shelter in one of the wide-open spaces.
